The 12 FILMS PROJECT is a Louisville based film initiative with the goal of creating twelve short films in one year utilizing the collective skills, talents and combined equipment and resources of it's members.

The group meets weekly to discuss project ideas and to facilitate the preproduction, production and post-production needs of each team each month.
​
Our mission is to provide our team members with opportunities to learn and grow from each other and to have a monthly opportunity to work in different departments to learn new skills, trades and positions within a film production.
One of the objectives of 12 films is to provide every member with the opportunity to direct at least one of the 12 films each year.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Have a short format screenplay that you would like to see produced? Submit your script here for consideration in the 12 Films Project. If selected, we will make your movie at no cost to you, and you may even get the chance to direct it!
Are you an actor or talent looking for a chance to flex your skills or try new roles in film? Are you a stage actor that's interested in film but never tried it? Fill out our talent form and throw your name in the hat for casting calls and auditions.
We are always looking for new crew members. Always wanted to work on a film set? Or do you have experience already and want to hone your skills or pick up some new ones?Fill out our crew form and become eligible for production credits.
